Considering Creatine? Why Creapure Should Be Your Only Choice

All creatine supplements are not the same. Quality is essential when it comes to creatine. Take an inferior product and you'll get inferior results. It's that simple. Creapure is the purest brand of creatine you can buy - bottom line. It is manufactured in Germany by Degussa AG Trostberg (formerly SKW Trostberg AG - they merged with Degussa-Huls AG in 2001). Raw creatine currently comes from three countries: China, Germany and the United States. Germany produces some of the purest creatine on the market.

Creapure is guaranteed to be the highest in quality, purity and safety. When the HPLC (High Pressure Liquid Chromatography or High Performance Liquid Chromatography) analysis is done on it, no impurities are detected.

More importantly, dihydrotriazine, potentially the most harmful impurity, is not detectable in Creapure at all! Keep in mind, HPLC analytics can quantify impurities as low as 13 ppm for dicyandiamide (DCD), 67 ppm for creatinine and 15 ppm for dihydrotriazine and none of these are detected.

Many supplement companies use Creapure. You could have four different supplement companies selling creatine products that are exactly the same because they all use the same brand creatine. That's good news because that means all you have to do is find the cheapest creatine product that uses Creapure because there is absolutely no difference among the different products (assuming the products you are comparing don't include other ingredients).

Supplement companies may sell Creapure by itself, or they may mix it with other ingredients. I recommend sticking with products that use creatine without any other ingredients or additives. Pay close attention to the product labels to see what's inside.  You can tell if they use Creapure because you'll see one of three things on the label:  you will either see "Creapure" listed as an ingredient or you'll see something like, "Our creatine is made with Creapure", or you may see the Creapure logo:

If you can't find the word, "Creapure", or the logo on the label, they don't use it! Don't waste your money because you'll pay for it in the end with inferior results and potential health risks. Creapure, surprisingly, isn't much more expensive than the cheap varieties. You'll pay around $24 for a 200-serving container, which is pretty cheap considering the quality of the product and the results you'll get. Here are some great products to consider that use Creapure:

Optimum Creatine Powder is the least expensive Creapure creatine you'll find. I'm a big fan of any product made my Optimum Nutrition as they are a highly reputable supplement company. Their creatine powder comes in a 400-serving container at less than $.11/serving. You can't beat that price for the purest creatine on the market. Depending how you cycle creatine, one container could last an entire year!

If you don't need that much creatine, here are four other products that contain Creapure in smaller containers. Some of these products are also micronized creatine (a different form of creatine). Again, all of these products are exactly the same because they use the same brand of creatine and they don't have any additional ingredients. The only differences are the number of servings per container, the prices, and the type of creatine used (monohydrate vs micronized).

	Prolab Creatine - comes in 120 or 200 serving containers at just under $.12 per serving
	Ultimate Nutrition Creapure - comes in 60 or 200 serving containers at just under $.12 per serving
	Kaizen Micronized Creatine - comes in 200 serving containers at a little over $.14 per serving; it's more expensive because it's micronized creatine.
	Bioplex Micronized Creatine Monohydrate - comes in 65 or 142 serving containers at over $.23 per serving. This is one of the more expensive micronized Creapure brand creatines. Their serving sizes, however, are 7 grams vs. the typical 5 grams per serving found in most brands.
