Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle is primarily focused on nutrition and is more of a "set plan." While his plan works for most healthy individuals, it does not address the needs of the metabolically-challenged or those who have illnesses. Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle is more hard-core than “across-the-board” in scope. You will not find a better hard-core, answers-driven book out there. There is not much on the inspiration front, but it’s an encyclopedia for fat loss. Also, Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle doesn't address weight training that much as Tom's primary focus when it comes to exercise is cardio. It does cover the basic weight training principles, however, which is certainly enough for the average person.
