If you are one of those fitness freaks and yet have not started an Exercise regime, it’s high time you begin. People of all ages need to carve out a regime for fitness. You can start with a simple 30 minutes exercise routine like walking, jogging, cycling to get things started.

Every person has different reasons to exercise, for some it could be to lose weight and for others it might be to improve muscle flexibility to be physically fit. Before deciding on any exercise program you need to take into consideration the type of exercise that will suit you, your age, lifestyle, and physical ability. If you carve a regime which does not match your needs, you’ll be seeing results you were not looking for! This is a huge reason why a lot of people who start off enthusiastically give up after a while as they don’t get the desired results and get de-motivated. It could also be injurious to your body.

The best regime to start with could be 20 minutes of exercise, 3 to 5 times a week.

Attaining fitness can involve building cardiovascular resistance and increased muscle strength. It may seem tough and a little intimidating, but if you stick to the fundamental principles of exercising that is including in your regime a blend of exercises you’ll be good to go. Here are few of them that you can incorporate in your weekly exercises in a healthy exercise regime.

  • Aerobic ExerciseAerobic exercises can provide many health benefits, as it helps make and keep a stronger heart and body system, while working on all muscles. With time it enables you to build strength to exercise for long periods.
  • Anaerobic Exercise – In brief anaerobic exercise is used primarily if you are intending to build a muscular physique. These exercises do not generally provide the health benefits an aerobic exercise can give, but will help bring up your body’s performance in general.
  • Stretching and Flexibility Exercises – They help to maintain the movement of your body, reduce strain and injury while exercising and it is a must that it should be incorporated in every regime.

To be able to succeed in the exercise regime you have set up for yourself, you will need to take the time to plan your workouts into your weekly schedule. In order to get benefits from the exercises that you take time out to do, you will have to stick to the program for at least 3 days in a week, if you are not able to keep up to this then there is no point in calling it an exercise regime.

One last suggestion that I could give you is to take advantage of the weekend that you get. Try doing up the work you would probably do on a weekend through the week, this way you could spend those 30 minutes to do your workout. By doing your workout in the weekend, you also have the benefit of being more flexible in your workout hours. Though at times you may not be able to adhere to the fixed timing for your exercises, you must find ways to incorporate them at a later period of time. Happy exercising!
